The tree that refused to die.
This stalwart Washington Hawthorne was run over by a drunk driver. Fifteen months ago she was lying prostrate along the ground with 90% of her trunk severed. I'd nursed her from a 6" plug 5 years ago and wasn't prepared to give up that quickly . Now at 12' tall she's a sight to behold.
